Beware of fake Telegram and other social media entities claiming to be owned by Groww Mutual Fund/Groww Asset Management Limited

Groww Mutual Fund/Groww Asset Management Limited would like to alert all its investors, distributors, broker, Investment advisors, partner and public at large regarding the fraudulent Telegram channels, YouTube channels and other social media groups/entities that camouflage themselves as Company/Fund or its officials and misrepresent to the public that they are associated or affiliated with the Company/Fund or its officials and falsely/fraudulently promise a huge amount of returns against their investment. These social media groups/entities are illegally and illicitly using the name, logo and identity of Company/Fund and/or its officials, without authorization, with the intent to misguide and cheat the potential investors.

Groww Mutual Fund is only present on the following social platforms, with the handles/channel names mentioned below:

Groww Mutual Fund does not promise or misguide investors in any form or on any social platforms for abnormal earnings or returns while investing in mutual funds.

We request social media users and investors to report fraudulent groups on Telegram in case they come across them to [email protected] or write to us at [email protected] so that appropriate action may be taken to curb such mala fide activities.

CAUTION FOR INVESTORS

We would like to bring to your notice that certain unknown, unscrupulous persons have been trying to mislead the public by wrongfully claiming to be part of Groww Mutual Fund by using our logo, social media platforms, misleading the public by offering financial and other investment schemes and seeking money.

It has been noticed that such unknown persons have made fraudulent account(s), specifically mentioned in Annexure A below, where forged and fabricated documents have been uploaded with the view to cheat the general public and to lure them to invest money, promising attractive returns.

Please note this is entirely a fraudulent activity and by using Groww logo and name including that of Groww Mutual Fund, these persons are trying to mislead the public to part with their hard-earned money by promising attractive returns. One of the modus operandi is to showcase attractive returns in their online posts, attract the public and once you follow them, they communicate individually for transferring money to specified bank accounts through online mode, including UPI methods.

Investors are advised to Inform the local police or cybercrime authority about such frauds immediately.

We caution that no one should engage with such fraudulent online accounts and remit/transfer money to personal accounts of any person. We will not accept any liability whatsoever for any loss that the public may incur owing to transactions made with such unknown individuals and agencies making false claims.
